@GangstasFORLife3000 i have saved Pelleas many playthroughs before, i went back to POR to get new clear data, i continued from the new clear data in RD and then i couldnt save pelleas…thanks nintendo.

@demoncry54 you only have the third on the second play through of higher and you have to chose to start over on that file after waching the credits it will ask if you want to then when you play thourgh there are more things to get.

you don’t have to do the same difficulty
you must only make a clear data after the epiloque
then it will ask you to chose the difficulty

I think people here are misunderstanding…put it this way: After the game’s credits, you are given the choice to save and restart the game from the very beginning, but with minor enhancements and smarter opponents.You have to save and replay the game FROM THAT POINT AFTER THE CREDITS. DON’T start another file, just replay the game on the file that you’ve beaten. It will ASK you if you want to restart the game. THAT is what you do to reach your second playthrough to get Pelleas and Sephiran.

Once you have the clear data do you have to start a new game on the same difficulty you beat it on to get pelleas?

If you do not then you have to beat the game 1 time then playthrough it
(Eg your on normal)
(I dont know if this part is true)
You start another file on the same difficulty as the completed one is
Then you should get the third command

You can’t start a new game on just any chapter. You have to go through it once, and if possible, start a new game after beating it the first time. The difficulty level does not matter. If you get to this point in the second time playing Radiant Dawn, there will be the command to refuse. Do that, and Pelleas will eventually join your time. Saving Pelleas will also give out a few more cooler things, such as getting Lehran, if things are done correctly.

ok so my brother went through the game once and got up to that part and there wasnt a third option… how do you start a new game on the same chapter so that you actually CAN get this option? and does the difficulty level matter?

When I restarted, it when straight to base, and I did the chapter with which I think was a different dialogue. Does this mean I can’t get Pelleas anymore?

Pelleas is my favorite character. I brought him all the way to the endgame with me. Even though he takes time to raise, it’s worth it because he’s good and he’s the first dark magic user (Lehran is the second one but he also uses light magic).

All you need is to beat the game once and there will be a third option when you have to kill him and take the third option later on in the game you get him as a recruit. Problem solved.

It doesn’t work if you have a Path of Radiance easy file. Normal and Hard work fine though and choosing the difficulty in RD makes no difference. So just delete your easy files on Path of Radiance and it should work fine.
